Ultrazine is an unofficial ULTRAKILL fan-zine celebrating the world and characters of the game by Hakita. This project will aim to include fanart, fanfiction, custom level development, and other community content.

    Contributor Guidelines

    • Applicants must correctly add content warnings to any piece they submit if required.
      Due to the nature of the game, light blood/gore is allowed without warnings.

    • Applicants must have a Discord account in order to participate. All communications once selected will be done through there.

    • Applicants will be required to submit 3 pieces/links of their best work. We will be evaluating you based on these samples alone.

    • Absolutely NO AI content will be accepted and will result in immediate disqualification.

    • Each role will have application-specific guidelines, and are stated on their respective forms.

    • No previous zine experience is required.

    FAQ

    • What is a zine?

    Zine is short for magazine. It is a self-published print work typically produced in limited batches.

    • What will be produced at the end of the project?

    A 40+ page zine consisting of a mixture of fanart, fanfic, level development, and other community content.

    • Who will the profits go to?

    This is a non-profit zine; all proceeds will go to the chosen charity (TBC).

    • When will contributor applications open?

    Public contributor applications are open from November 8th and will close on November 25th

    • What is a back-up contributor

    A back-up contributor is someone who wasn't initially selected but can be asked to fill-in for any contributor who has to drop out during the project. They will have a significantly shorter work period.
    Back-ups are allowed to say no if asked to step in.

    • How many contributors will there be?

    TBC.

    • Will there be an NSFW zine?

    The zine will NOT include any NSFW content.
